Pagan Podkin Supermoot 2

2011
02.25

The Pagan Podkin Supermoot is a yearly gathering of all your favorite podkin that travels around North America for one weekend only to meet and greet fans, listeners, and other podcasters.

In 2010, it took place in Chicago, IL during the month of October. In 2011, we’ve chosen to have the Supermoot in Salem, Massachusetts. That’s right! You finally have a very good excuse to go to Salem. The official date is the weekend of September 17th. We’ll probably be out and about Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th, with the majority of the public meet & greet happening Saturday. The Podkin will have some events and things on the 16th that will be solely for podcasters. (Sorry listeners, but we’d like time to geek out over one another, too!)

This page will serve as the official list of podkin attending, those probably attending, any special guests we’ll have, and where and when we’ll be there. As we have several months before the big weekend, this page will be updated periodically, possibly up until the weekend of PPSM2.

Quick Note: If you are a podcaster, and you have not gotten an invitation to the moot, PLEASE email IncitingARiotPodcast@gmail.com. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been podcasting, as long as you have at least 3 episodes, put out consistently, or that you’ve been putting out regular shows without several months of delay between them. So, those that are brand new (1-2 eps) or have pod-faded, sorry, but that’s probably why we didn’t email you. Otherwise, send me an email and Velma or I will get back to you ASAP with details!

One last thing: Velma and I want as many people as possible to be invited. We realize that some of the pagan podcasters weren’t sent an initial invitation. We sincerely apologize to those that have been consistently podcasting. The podcasting community is so large at this point, we simply could not remember everybody when we were putting out the list. Fear not, we are gathering a list of those we missed, and we will get emails out to you soon!

Remember, Obama is trying to outlaw us

Since I just discovered that this is news to the Pagan podcasting community, here’s a friendly reminder that President Obama’s administration along with the FBI are trying to outlaw mechanisms used to create Pagan podcasts. Read more at:

For those of you who don’t know, this has been a work in progress since mid-2010.
